My father opened Card & Party Shop on Newland Avenue in 2011. For fifteen years it has been one of the area's longest-running celebration-supply stores, the kind of business that learns what actually works in a venue, what holds through a long evening, and what matters when a deadline is close.
C&P Balloons is the studio that grew out of that foundation. Not a rebrand. An offshoot. The parent business kept running; we built something new on top of it. It started when it became clear Yorkshire needed a premium displays studio to match the quality the parent business had been quietly producing for fifteen years.
My father has been making balloon installations since Card & Party Shop opened. That depth, knowing which structures hold, which materials perform, how long a job actually takes on-site, is not something a newer operation can replicate. He handles every build and every install.
I handle the design brief, colour matching, and everything from first hello to install day. Every enquiry starts with a free consultation call, a relaxed chat about the occasion, your colours, and the venue, so we can plan the display that actually fits. Then I send a fixed, itemised quote and confirm the booking. No chasing. No surprises.
